Shannon Martin serves as Managing Director of Argus Growth Consultants, Ltd.,
and is a partner with Argus' affiliate, Bricker & Eckler LLP,
where she participates in the firm's Public Finance, Real Estate and Health Care Industry Groups.
She is located in the Cincinnati/Dayton office. Her practice focuses on the finance and general
counsel needs of health care and public sector clients, commercial developers, and
non-profit and for-profit corporations. She has diverse real estate and financing
experience in all aspects of real estate development and structured finance,
including serving as bond counsel, bank counsel and borrowers' counsel.
In addition to finance matters, Shannon serves as general counsel and special
counsel to port authorities, counties, municipal corporations and other political
subdivisions in connection with a variety of operational and legislative matters,
land-use issues, public improvement projects, procurement processes and disputes,
conflicts of interest, charter review and amendment processes, annexations and
appropriations. Her commercial developer experience includes work with
procurement, zoning, leasing, condominium creation and operation, ground leases,
management contracts and the like for a wide range of developments, including
office and medical office and other health care facilities, industrial and
commercial space, student housing, long-term care facilities and multi-use projects.
