Julie Burkart is a Managing Director with the Analytical Services Division of
Argus and has held that position since the fall of 2006. Ms. Burkart has been
employed in various positions throughout the public finance arena including working
for bond attorneys, underwriters and issuers. Ms. Burkart is a former Assistant
Auditor for the City of Columbus where she was responsible for debt issuance and
analysis. Prior to joining the City of Columbus, Ms. Burkart was Vice President of
Investment Banking in the Columbus office of A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. specializing
in the issuance of tax-exempt bonds. Currently, Ms. Burkart is also the Senior Public
Finance Specialist in Bricker & Eckler's Bond, Structured & Public Finance
group. She assists the attorneys in this area and concentrates her practice in rebate
analysis, TIF and special assessment numerical analysis, as well as bond issuance
documentation and closing. She is a member of the Legal Assistant Division of the
National Association of Bond Lawyers.
Ms. Burkart earned her legal assistant certification from the Capital University
Law School and her undergraduate degree cum laude from The Ohio State University.
