Amy Gray, Senior Analyst for the Analytical Services Division of Argus, has been
with the company since its inception in 1999. As a team member of Argus, she
has had the opportunity to assist several local communities in their efforts to
formulate useful economic development programs with specific objectives and
strategies for obtaining their goals. As part of this process, Ms. Gray has
conducted stakeholder interviews; facilitated public meetings; analyzed land
use and potential market niches; and presented findings to public officials.
She has also assisted Argus clients in determining which economic development
resources are appropriate for their community and aided in the creation and
implementation of these tools.
As Argus began to broaden its services, Ms. Gray was able to transition into a
role that allows her to facilitate clients’ needs on the front end as well as
seeing a project through to completion. Currently, she is managing information
for community development authorities to ensure these entities are functioning
properly and meeting all necessary deadlines and filings.
Prior to coming to Argus, Ms. Gray worked for the City of Columbus as a
development associate responsible for obtaining sponsorships and grants for a
variety of programs in the recreation and parks department. She also
coordinated funding for a scholarship program enabling underprivileged, at-risk
youth to participate in recreation programs. Ms. Gray was also the first
full-time director for the Powell Area Chamber of Commerce and served as an
intern for the Legislative Service Commission. She holds a Bachelor’s degree
and a Masters in Public Administration from Bowling Green State University.
